Lake Bafa

Lake Bafa also known as Lake Çamiçi is a lake located between the boundaries of Milas district of Mugla Province and the northern part within Aydın Province's Söke district. The lake is created by the The Büyük Menderes River which is named by river god Maeander in Greek mythology. There is a monastery situated on an islet on the lake which is believed to be pledged to St. Mary.

According to the story, it was here that the goddess Selene cut in love with the herdsman Endymion and she asked Zeus to remain the adolescent herder in endless nap and bore up to cardinal children from her nightly encounters with the sleeping formative man.

Watch in Sea!

You are covered with salty water, you cannot see the things as they are. You see them bigger or smaller. Be deep below or high above of the water. Either way watch yourself , not TV!
